SOLE Custom Footbeds Announces Support of CanadaRun

[May 29, 2003 - Victoria, BC] SOLE Custom Footbeds is pleased to announce it's major involvement in this summer's CanadaRun expedition. Wes Baker, founder of the CanadaRun society, will begin his cross-country journey on June 15th in Halifax. His goal is to run from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Columbia, completely under the power of his own two feet, before winter sets in. His mission is to raise awareness for the CanadaRun society, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping students reduce the financial burden of post-secondary education.

Baker, if he succeeds, will be the first Canadian student to run across the country on behalf of his fellow students. All of the proceeds generated from the CanadaRun fundraising campaign will be put into a CanadaRun scholarship pool.

The CanadaRun Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing innovative students with University scholarships. The society provides endowments to student from all walks of life, studying in all disciplines. Every University student in Canada is eligible to apply for CanadaRun scholarships.
