for the enormous US work boot market. Edge Marketing Corp has just completed
a deal with industry leader Red Wing Shoe Company of Red Wing Minnesota
to supply a co-branded Custom footbed. The deal will see the Sole Custom
Footbeds, under the name Red Wing Custom Foot Support System, available
in all 430 Red Wing Shoe Stores by October and made available to the
over 4000 outlets that carry Red Wing products world wide.
The
product utilizes technology that has been available to medical practitioners
for some time. Edge Marketing's "Heat to Fit" technology allows
the footbeds to be fully customized in under five minutes. This improved
process allows the product to be fit at the retail level or in the consumer's
home.
The
agreement with Red Wing is further affirmation of the initial success
enjoyed by Edge who shipped the first Sole Custom Footbeds in May 2001
and are now in over 750 locations across North America, that number
will be at over 1700 once the first Red Wing stores receive the product
in October.

EVA components become soft and moldable. They then just place the orthotic
in their shoe and put it on. As the consumer stands on it, the Sole
