It is important to have the proper foot support while training and when you are pulling 300 lbs sleds over 60 days and 700 miles....As a polar adventurer the feet are one of the most important areas to stay warm. I would not go an expedition to the North or South Pole without my SOLE footbeds for extended warmth and comfort! Doug Stoup
