Casual Flips On Hold
After much anticipation the Casual Flips have made it to our Distribution Centers. It is a bittersweet arrival, as the new look and cork platform is exceptional, however, we have noticed a few inconsistencies with the fit of the straps. In an effort to continue to bring you the highest quality products, we would like to further research this problem before we send them to market.
Our high standards, diligence and hard work have guaranteed that our products have demonstrated the fit, feel and overall comfort SOLE is known for. We are firm believers in delivering the best possible products to our customers and are thankful that up until now, we have not been faced with the need to forego product releases.
With that in mind, we hope you will respect and appreciate our decision to withhold the Casual Flips until we have reconciled the strap-related issues and determined the product is up to our standards.
Thank you for your patience as we seek to resolve the issues with the straps.

Kudos to SOLE! Any other company would have released a less then expected product and would hope for minimal complaints about the quality. You guys have actually decided to make sure the product is up to the standards you have set in place. I'm sure anyone that's been waiting for this product can understand this decision and and hopefully they appreciate your stance as well!

Please remember we don't ALL have really wide feet. Most good-quality flip-flop straps are waaaaay toooooo big for my skinny size 9 foot. So I always have to have an adjustable strap and that is extrememly difficult to find.

Funny, I commented in detail on the fit of the Sport Slides on the blog post about its release in the US store and that comment hasn't shown up yet. I wonder if it has anything to do with my problems with the fit? Because nobody takes two days to review and moderate comments.
