SOLE Platinum Sandals Approved by Podiatrists

SOLE's new line of Platinum Sandals have been awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). An APMA committee scientifically evaluated the moldable, orthopedic flip-flops from SOLE and determined they promote quality foot health.
In response to a rising number of foot-related injuries due to flip flops, the APMA last summer initiated a public service campaign that warned about the dangers of wearing cheaply constructive or unsupportive sandals. The campaign featured a list of "Ten Tips to Avoid a Flip-Flop Fiasco," which included choosing flip-flops that hold the APMA Seal of Acceptance, like the SOLE Platinum Sandals.

Launched this fall, the SOLE Platinum Sandal line features premium, performance flip-flops with unique, three-layer construction. The top layer is a constructed of an EVA blend that is optimized to mold to your feet over time. A high-density EVA midsole supports the top layer and features the same proprietary, supportive shape found in SOLE's renowned line of custom footbeds. This structural support ensures that the sandal's orthopedic benefits are maintained while the top layer becomes personalized for your feet. The outsole features traction rubber and a rocker shape to promote a smooth gait cycle. The sandals also include a metatarsal support pad and a hidden toe ridge to help keep the shoes on your feet.
